OVERVIEW
The CP93 is an electronic controller designed to operate access automation systems (e.g. swing gates, sliding gates, roller shutter door operators etc.) that incorporate either a single or double single phase, reversible AC induction motor. The controller has various pre-configured inputs and outputs in order to operate these types of systems in addition to many programmable features.

The user interface is enhanced using a three character digital display. Combined with two pushbuttons to navigate through the programming menu and a further pushbutton to select the required function, the programming of the controller to suit a multitude of requirements is very quick and easy. The board is fitted with diagnostic LED's for easier fault finding and installation.

The controller uses either limit switch inputs or a timer system to suit the end of travel limits for the particular installation.

In order to prolong the life of the motor switching relays, the controller incorporates zero crossing switching. This includes the ability to adjust the cross over point until minimum arcing of the relay contacts occur.

It is the all in one solution for new AC gate motors systems.

It is also the ideal replacement for an existing system where there is either no longer support or service available for the controller, or the controller has been damaged beyond repair by lightning or electrical surges.

FEATURES
GENERAL FEATURES

Incorporates protection against lightning and high voltage surges. Three digit, seven segment LED display with three buttons for programming features. Status of each feature programmed can be easily determined via display. On board TEST button to activate standard trigger input. Easily removable connectors.

OPTIONAL INPUTS

Standard trigger input with the following selectable parameters:  
  — Repeated triggers start, stop and reverse motor(s). STANDARD
  — Repeated triggers start and reverse motor(s) REVERSING
  — Operate in open direction only with automatic closing after preset auto close time. Auto close time is programmable. CONDOMINIUM
  — Auto reverse on clearing standard closing protection input. PIRAC MODE
Trigger input to operate motor(s) in opening direction only.
Using combination of standard and free exit inputs:
FREE EXIT
  — Separate operation of motor(s) in each direction with emergency stop as separate input to stop motor(s) PLC MODE
  — Constant activation of input to operate motors with separate operation in either direction. DEADMAN CONTROL
Partial cycle opening of master motor for programmed time with automatic closing. Automatic close time adjustable.
PEDESTRIAN OPENING
Independent limit input for both motors in both directions configurable for NO* or NC* contacts
